Training

I teach healthcare people to use AI in their actual jobs: hospital leaders, clinicians, nurses, health center staff, association members, and graduate students. 75+ trainings, workshops, and keynotes so far, reaching 2,500+ people.

Every session is hands-on. People open the tools and work on their own tasks, and they leave with something they can use on Monday. I also teach Health Informatics (including applied AI) to UGA's MHA students, so the material gets tested on a sharp audience every semester.

I am a Microsoft Certified Trainer and a Microsoft Certified Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect (Expert), and I designed Microsoft's AI Learning Path for Rural and Community Healthcare.

• Rural Health AI Certification: the nation's first, developed with HomeTown Health. A structured program that takes hospital staff from AI basics to governance and use cases, with a credential at the end
• AI Readiness Cohorts: a virtual cohort for a group of hospitals, run through state offices of rural health and hospital associations. Details are on the Consulting page
• Custom Workshops: half-day and full-day sessions for leadership teams, clinical staff, and association members. Recent audiences include the Georgia Nurses Association and the Georgia Primary Care Association
• Official Microsoft Courses: as a Microsoft Certified Trainer I deliver Microsoft's official AI, Copilot, agent, and Power BI (PL-300) courses, remotely or on site
• Microsoft AI Learning Path for Rural and Community Healthcare: a video series I designed and produced with Microsoft Elevate, released January 2026

• Hospitals and health systems: leadership teams, clinical staff, and IT, from a single workshop to a full certification cohort
• FQHCs and community health centers: front desk, clinical, and finance staff learning to use AI in scheduling, documentation, and reporting
• Associations and state programs: member trainings and conference workshops for nursing, primary care, hospital, and rural health associations
• Federal and academic: 700+ USAID acquisition and assistance professionals trained in generative AI (Washington, Bangkok, San Salvador, and Kyiv), and graduate students at UGA
